Using the phone in Bermuda
We charge a fixed amount
of just $2.00 a day for renting regular mobile phones and $5.00
a day for the VX6000 photo phone.
Day and night 'air time'
use for local calls is 60 cents a minute. There is no charge
for the extra services provided (call waiting, voice mail etc.)
Calls to the UK, USA,
Canada are an additional 50 cents a minute.
i.e. 110 cents a minute.
International calls
to the rest of the world are only one dollar per minute.

You pay just $5.00 a
day rental and we'll bill you at cost for any call charges you
incur.

$100 is taken from your card shortly before the rental period commences.
After the phone's return
we adjust the bill to $0.00. If during the rental period your charges
exceed the deposit we may deduct from your card to bring the balance
owing to about $0.00. We would normally let you know before doing
this.
Multiple phone rentals
require only one deposit (unless the phones are to be billed seperately.)
Why
do we take $100?
We do this for
two main reasons. Firstly it allows us to make sure we have the correct
number and expiration date for your credit card. Secondly it lets
us know that you're good for at least $100. Previously we wouldn't
take any money until the end of the rental period but having been
'burnt' several times by the most sincere and important sounding customers
(two of whom have recently been locked up in Bermuda's prison for
fraud) it has become necessary for us to deduct a deposit. If you
belong to an approved local business then we will bill you.

Collection
& Delivery:
We can deliver to you anywhere
in Bermuda, including the airport. There is a one-time $25.00 charge
that covers drop off and pick up of any number of phones for the same
location and dates.
Please
Note:
If you are staying in accomodation where there are no full-time
staff to hold the phone for you before arrival, we highly recommend
you pick up and drop off the phone at the airport.

Phone
Types:
Most of our Bermuda rental
units are Nokia 2285 and LG VX1. Some other makes are available
if you prefer, so feel free to ask when ordering. They are relatively
inexpensive, so if you drop yours in Hamilton Harbour, we won't
charge you very much ($75.00).
For $2.00 a day
we can rent you a SIM to use with your own GSM phone so you can retain
the phonebook and other settings but cut out roaming costs.
For $5.00 a day
we can also rent you a mobile should yours not be 'triband', to use
with your SIM.
Our newest model, the VX6000
picture phone is available for $5.00 a day. We also have GSM
versions of this phone.
All phones come
with high capacity batteries that will give well over 24 hours on
standby and up to two hours of talk time. They come with manuals and
hints on local use. Mains chargers accompany each unit and a car charger
can be included if you are electrically challenged.

Reservations:
To reserve a phone please
use the online form.
We need to know:
1. the dates you require,
2. the address where
you are staying
(if we are delivering to you).
Also we can also let you
have the number(s) in advance if you request this in the comments
section of the online form.
We then take $100.00
shortly before the rental period begins and will deliver if requested.
If you let us have your
favourite names and numbers in advance we can enter them into the
phones memory for you.
We
will email or fax you a copy of the final bill wherever you may be
if you so desire to your native land.
